Getting all Danny Choo up in this bitch. I designed & created Japanese shoes (“geta”) for a 1/3rd-scale doll via 3D printing. I also experimented with “processing” the PLA plastic print by applying a layer of the common gap-filling putty, Milliput, thus making the surface sandable. It was a pain to sand every square millimeter, but the results look okay.
After that came priming (via airbrush) and then painting with an acrylic black paint. Still need to do some touch-ups there.
