My Open Source design “STOLEN” from interet…
Yesterday I received a comment on one of my design posted on TH.
The user warms me a super villain has stolen one of my design and sell it on ebay (by the way thank you for the notice).
Please point your weapons in the right direction.
Honestly, we must stop being naive … it is far from the first time and even less on this platform. And more generally when looking around there are full of similar story since the creation of internet.
Personally I accept the rules of the game. That’s why everything I publish is free of rights, make whate you want with it. And what I do not want to see everywhere, I keep it to myself!
Peace.
We are pointing our weapons in the correct direction. Someone violated a license, and we’re doing what we can about it right now.
@Nathan_Walkner I’m not going to argue the effectiveness of my actions. I’m just going to do them.
@Justin_Nesselrotte I supporting open source for a long time and I do not endorse the attitude of J3DP !!! But I think a positive attitude works just as well and a happy face have the same impact as a sade face. This is what I mean when I talk about pointing “weapons” in the right direction; fight the system and not people who compose it. Especially if you want to change his mind.
@Sebastien_Mischler we’ve already fought the system. That’s why these licenses are possible and enforceable. Now we just deal with the violators of the license.
