I’m hoping it’s not required to operate the new xbox so they end up cheap on ebay.
At first MS said the console won’t work without it, then after consumer backlash about privacy (no one wants an active camera 24/7 in their living room, huge surprise!) they backtracked a bit claimed that the xBox can be operated without one. We’ll see soon enough.
