Our new kitchen mixer tap had nothing to indicate which side was hot and which was cold.
It does now.
Isn’t hot universally on the left side?
@Daniel_Osborne usually, but not universally
I’ve lived in older houses where it wasn’t even consistent from one faucet to another.
Once you are infected by 3D printing you see tons of possible applications. Yours is a good one. ![]()
@Daniel_ShadowDrakken That falls to the “plumber” who installed the faucet. Hot is supposed to be on the left as a given.
Actually it’s supposed to be just one tap nowadays, so you can control temperature and amount independently.
Mixed in the tap to avoid any risk of warm water entering the cold water line.
Mixer design: FAIL.
3D printing: WIN!
