Panucatt Azteeg x5 gt board keeps halting randomly in the middle of prints.
I have checked the thermistor and it giving solid readings. It happens if i use simplify 3d or Cura 2.5.
It also doesn’t crash at the same point of the print.
The screen and locks up as well.
I have been fighting this all week and haven’t gotten anywhere with the issue.
Does anyone have ideas as to what could be causing the issue?

This may not be super helpful but I had the same problem with a Ramps 1.4 board that I kludged a workaround. I ran an Octoprint server instead of running off of the SD card and my problem went away completely…
It may have been the SD card was bad so you could try swapping it before doing anything else?
I started having this problem when i was building my printer with a Sbase board.
Could not figure it out, changed all sorts of stuff, firmware, power supply etc.
I now purchased now a Asteeg X5 GT and i have the same problem.
As I have not finished mt printer yet, i was working on it calibrating stuff for a few hours, then it started
halting again, even turning it off and back on, it halted now either during bed calibration or on first layer.
So i finnally turned it off and went to bed.
Got up in morning then played the same file and it started printing!
So i believe something is overheating, but nothing seems hot to me.
I have placed for time being a 120cm fan on top of board and has not hung yet.
So have have you got your board mounted? do you have cooling?
Just a possible solution at this stage.
My issue ended up being the SD card. I got a brand name card and problem solved.
