@Cristian_Martinez you can to adapt to any printer designing holder, other parts like stepper, heater or thermistor are fully compatibles

Cool! :slight_smile:

@Brook_Drumm as you may know is fair price, without having developed the pellet extruder?
@mahor_muniz_cadenas has worked hard on this project that knows how to put a price on his work and in a fair way.

@Miguel_Angel_Salmer1 great work. I am just curious that most pellet extruders are bad at retracts and flow consistency. how does this one fair. Also i have seen people ( makibox ) discuss that a better approach is to have a pellet extruder making a filament which is then fed into a regular extruder. This eliminates all the problems of a pellet extruder . I dont see why nobody has done it yet. ?

Overcomplicating things? First you need to melt the pellets into filament then cool it down then melt it again to extrude it. Plus im pretty sure the filament extruder would be making more filament than the printer can use up so youd need a place to store the extra which increases the risk of bends and knots in the filament

Thats what i would think anyways. Idk im a noob lol

@Cristian_Martinez you are in correct thinking way

Any chance i would be able to buy one of these extruders? Once its fully developed

@ekaggrat_singh_kalsi I think that most pellet extruders use non optimal auger, without high compression to heating zone, due to this needs more revolutions or temperature, creating bubbles or jams and many problems that can be make crazy anyone

@Cristian_Martinez of course you can buy at next month, tell me your email and address for add orders list. but you should know that the develop never will be finished always there are anything to improve :wink:

I sent you a message on hangouts @mahor_muniz_cadenas and i know theres always room for improvement :slight_smile:

@mahor_muniz_cadenas not trolling here , but i will be convinced when you show a print with lots of retracts , https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:179267. i bet it will jam on it. also the prints you display don’t seem to have a very consistent flow.

@ekaggrat_singh_kalsi It’s a good challenge, i will try it

Super cool. Now I am convinced . Way to go!!! Simply amazing.
