Pellet extruder with 0.6 mm nozzle, layer: 0.3 nmm, calibrating steps and mixing colors with samsung pellet, this works !!!
Oh snap! Do you have any more details about this??? Im highly interested
Sweet! Great job!
Are you sharing drawings?
What is the plan?

Lets just think about this in the short term. If someone makes a good unit based off this, and prices it well, this thing could be the perfect second, third, etc printer for basically all of us. Having a printer that can essentially recycle your other prints to feed it sounds huge. I doubt it’d replace filament, that would just shift the demand.
Agreed! I’ll do one and price it right. I’ll target $99
Have you tried how it mixes pellets with a masterbatch yet? I could imagine that the screw is a little too short to get consistent coloring in the plastic.
@Brook_Drumm ,I think @mahor_muniz_cadenas wants to do some pre-order like E3D does.
@Cristian_Martinez , @mahor_muniz_cadenas sure can give us more details, I have published a video with the assembly of pellet extruder, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3y28Xm6qKI
It is in Spanish but the details of assembly are seen.
Can i put this on a Prusa i3 MK2S?
Its all good im mexican lol
@Rob_Nance the injection pellets are usually at a good price, also with this extruder we will have to learn more about chemistry and make printed pieces with more properties. The return of alchemy!
@Daniel_Stauffer I mixed black and white abs, the mix was good and the result was a gray but I’m newbie mixing I suppose we’ll learn to make good mixtures of colors as the filament manufacturers do, surely they can have similar results.
@Miguel_Angel_Salmer1 its good mixing with abs from filament to add printing proprieties
@Miguel_Angel_Salmer1 also is good for 0.4 nozzle and thin layers, try it

Wow. Nice!
This would also work with PLA and PETG right?
