Piece cut with 4mm dia.

Piece cut with 4mm dia. Compression end mill (18,000 rpm, 3000mm/min)

Nice cut indeed. What’s your DoC ?

Hi there, Jeremie.
Clockwise. I think that is what you meant. Right conventional milling (fusion 360 parlance.) the rnc mills cost $15 from China. No need for $70 end mills from Onsrud.

Nice. Got to love compression bits. Got a link for where you got it for 15$?

Sure. It’s a little shop on EBAY called Carbide Chiu. Just search it and it will pop up easily. I just ordered 10 more of them the other day. I’ll attach a photo of the bit. He’s also got a ton of other interesting bits.

@Kevin_McNally actually, I meant “Depth of Cut”, sorry
Thanks for the sourcing pointer by the way.
I have read elsewhere that single straight flute bit where giving great results too with plywood…

3mm depth. I have heard the same regarding the straight single flute.
