Playing around with finishing.
yah i got that washer back out before closing it up 
. I only ran it for an hr and the piece has no noticable change, either need to use more agressive media (ceramic perhaps) or run for much much much longer). Anyone else try this out? results? I’ve been looking into doing also acetone vapor smoothing or using pvc glue (which is some other solvent that works on pla and appears to produce better than awesome results in regards to acetone.) One question I had is how do people neutralized the solvents if they’re doing dips or vapor is removal enough from the solvent or does the model continue to degrade the item from residual solvent?
@David_Clunie I tried this myself. I think I let it run for a few hrs though. it didn’t do much. I haven’t gotten around to it but I think adding water might help. At least it helps while sanding it by hand.
