Possible to connect a MP Select Plus LCD to Smoothieboard?

As said in the summary, a stepper driver on my MonoPrice Select Plus 3d Printer went out so I made the switch over to smoothieboard. The display on the original unit is still perfectly working, a LCD+Digitizer, since it still works I still would like to use. I have found the LCD panel online with the model number: HDW043TN25. It appears to be a 4.3 inch colored LCD display with 480*272 pixel resolution.

I have some experience with arduino marlin coding but it is just the basics. Is this even possible with this board?

I do believe wanhao (the parent design of the monoprice select plus 3d printer) has the firmware of their LCD display available online so perhaps it would be possible to migrate some of the data from that firmware over to a readable firmware format for smoothieboard? I hope it would be as easy as that but I’m not experienced in this at all.

Thanks for any responses.
