As always, people making the incorrect assumption that 3D printing is going to be great for mass production.

Co informed us that his company used a Zcorp 3D printer, that prints in sandstone to create their comic book cover
That cover alone is a $60+ print an will likely not survive shipping. I’m pretty sure that’s not what “the industry” needs to advance.
the sandstone material is great for full color displays, but yeah it’s rather brittle.
It makes for amazing statuettes though
