Price/performance value wise is there a strip you guys recommend for general use? After a faulty Apa102 strip Im thinking I should stick to earlier versions. Also are there any sellers on the web, aliexpress you recommend?
I’ve used ws2812b, and apa102. Using eBay, I purchased over 1,000 ws2812b LED’s from a seller in China. None were bad on delivery. 5 have gone bad in a year of extremely light use. (10 minutes a month.) All that said, i’d stick with the APAs. They’re easier to work with imho.
Are you sure you can’t just remove a few faulty LEDs in your strip?
