Print freezes when using Slic3r from GIT source

I’ve run into an interesting issue when trying to print with G code generated by Slic3r I built from GIT source.

What happens is after the skirt loops are printed, Smoothie retracts, moves to begin printing the actual piece, and then freezes. I’ve tried printing several things and every time the outcome is the same.

Looking at the GCode it looks like the freeze may be occurring due to a negative feedrate value. I’m not a G code expert, but am I right to assume negative feedrates are invalid?

Has anyone else experienced this when using Slic3r built from source?

Here’s a snippet of the offending G Code.

That’s definitely a Slic3r bug, you probably want to report it to them.

Cheers

Yep, I did some digging and found someone else has the same issue and reported it on GitHUB, Issue 3045. It seems to be caused by AutoSpeed. Once I disabled that, it slices and prints correctly. Hopefully they get it sorted because I like AutoSpeed.
