Makerbot Gen5 got a ipad app. Not realy for kids but its simple.

nice. it seems your primary purpose for accepting a 3d printer is the same as mine: our kids.
I’ve mostly replaced broken or missing parts of toys for my kids, sometimes improving the original design a bit.
AstroPrint released an Android app fill of kids toys a little while ago. initial selection has improved over time. might be worth looking into if your kids enjoy what time printed so far: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.astroprint.toymaker.mobile
