Printed on my new Zortrax printer.

Printed on my new Zortrax printer. I amazed at the quality of this printer and the prints.

Wow - that looks imprtessive! What layer height is that and did you use support?

That came out beautifully, now just paint it real careful and it’ll be fantastic. If it was a bit bigger you could insert a weight inside the base and make a really exciting book holder on the shelf, too!

0.14 layer height and with support.

excellent @David_Da_Costa1 , how much time did ity take to remove the supporting materials? did you print it vertically or was she on her back?

Do you have any pictures of it as it cam off the printer (support material intact)?

The quality is fantastic.

Wow, that came off a filament extruding machine? I thought that was resin, at first glance.

ABS or PLA?

ABS

awesome!

Can you also use the “standard” ABS or do you have to use the “Z-ABS” from Zortrax?

There is nothing stopping you using whatever you like and I know other users have used Afinia/ Up filament.

The smoothness was created by an acetone treatment, I assume?

mmmmmm…smooth…How many hours to achieve this result?

@Martin_Renold Nope, thats how it came of the printer, no acetone used.

@guillermo_gerard 7 hour print

WOW. Can this model be found on thingiverse ?

Search for Dark Swan, no longer on thingiverse but separate website
