Printed wishbones in Polycarbonate,

Printed wishbones in Polycarbonate, by far the strongest material that has ever come out of my 3d printer. Notice the large brim, the PC I used wouldn’t stick to the bed otherwise. Couldn’t break the wishbones with my bare hands, and I almost couldn’t get the shock screws in without stripping the head. Doesn’t want to delaminate at all. Haven’t bashed it yet…

@Emile_Wim Interesting, where can i buy it?

Bought mine on Ebay: 151071046927
Be sure that the nozzle can reach the needed temperature without destroying itself. (I used 290’C but around 260’C should also be possible with the right speeds)

What kind of 3D printer do you have?

Is your printer enclosed and vented? I’m not sure but I wonder about the fumes from PC.

I’ve got an Aluminatus trinity one, but I’ve swapped the j-head nozzle out for an all metal one.

@Emile_Wim Wow, so what did you end up printing this on? Garolite FR4?

I printed it on a heated (120’C) glass bed with hairspray. For me it didn’t stick to kapton or blue tape. I suspect that the PC I have still has some molding release additive in it.
