Some of the most impressive makerbot prints I’ve seen
Good looking prints. The Rep2 is a great printer. Highly regarded as a workhorse by most of the experts I know who are very familiar with Makerbots. It was years ahead of the market on reliable all-metal PLA hot ends, print cooling, and print quality (eg JKN advance). (Original build plate and extruder sucked though. All MBI products have issues at launch.)
Even the Gen 5 machines are now outputting good stuff since they fixed the extruder and slowed the acceleration way down in firmware.
