Printing similar objects in nylon (618) on Bakelite. A heated bed seems to do the trick.
Interesting. What was your extruder temp? I had the opposite problem with Garolite; I printed on it cold (170C head), but I couldn’t remove the piece without taking some bed layers with it.
Extruder was at 245 C. I have had the same problem in the past as well.
I tried using the 618 without drying it in the oven as I has been sitting in a box with a heap of silica gel for a while. Was hoping it had dried out enough. But it was still way too wet and didn’t stick at all.
The nylon in both shots above was dried the same amount in the oven. But the water content of the nylon directly relates to the adhesion to the bed, any bed.
Sorry, I meant 270C. Mine sticks well without drying, too, but it’s messy and ugly that way. But I’m printing weed eater line.
