Does it turn?
@Michael_Scholtz I would assume that after 3 in-lb of torque is achieved, it will start to turn.
@Matt_Clark i’m pretty sure thats just the rated maximum tuque
So is it a legitimize 1 print ratchet? Huh.

I think the model is meant to be a very specific test, but it would have been nice if it were a prettier or more useful object.
This wrench is the NASA wrench. It was the 1st tool to be emailed off planet with a function. I’m not sure if it completed the task it was created for, but it was sent with that in mind. The ones I’ve printed do function and ratchet. I’ve never tried to do up a bolt with it but do expect it will work.
I feel it got too much attention from the hobbyists too. I’ve never built one, it just seemed too contrived.
