Edit: Issue not just from tinkercad files.
I’ve only had this issue with parts created at tinkercad.com. Possibly something their software does is to blame, but the strange thing is that the parts are fine when loaded into slic3r or cura. That is, they are not inverted. Is there a setting that could compensate for this?
For now I will create parts some other way, but it’s a super useful site since it’s really easy to make simple parts.
Here’s an image that makes it easy to see the problem, sorry it’s a little blurry.

It seems that even parts that did not come from tinkercad have this issue. I guess I’ve never printed stuff that was asymetrical enough to notice before. It might be a configuration issue with the smoothie after all.
You probably just want to invert your Y axis … it’s a very common thing people have to do when setting up their machine, see the 3D printer guide.
That took care of it. I’m going to add a note in the 3d printer guide, since my y axis matched the orientation of the pronterface controls, I didn’t know it was backwards. Example: when looking at the printer and using the controls, x+ is on the right, and it moves the x axis to the right, y+ is up and clicking it moved the bed away. Now that it’s correctly set up, it moves the bed towards me, which seems backwards based on the interface.
