Prusa i3 clone made from extra parts (almost assembled).
I’m building a delta from the parts of my first three printers.
So many parts that need precision, I wasn’t sure I could get it completed. But, it seems to be fitting pretty well. I just need the bearing for the extruder, 2 limit switches and instructions for how to use the extra induction probes I have with the Prusa reprap.
The sensors I have are larger than the Pinda probe that came with my Original Prusa
Where did you source the print bed that you have your heater mounted too?
Thanks for all the (+)s about my reprap build. I wasn’t expecting that type of response. It’s encouraging! I still have to load the firmware and make sure I have all of the connections right. The controller is actually a RAMBo clone and I’m a little skeptical that it’s going to work right. Plus, I need to reprint the extruder parts in ABS or Nylon to make sure it doesn’t warp. It will be quite a pleasant surprise if it does work, though.
