Prusa i3 Steel frame. Waterjet cut from .1" thick Al
Steel frame made out of aluminum?
Those are some expensive triangles to cut. Are the weight savings really worth it?
@Tony_Olivo friend have all sheet available. Want to keep same name as original designer.
Maybe +Jonathan Nguyen meant to say ‘Sheet’ rather than ‘Steel’?

original designer have it for steel, i have Al available so i have it cut out of Al.

The original Prusa i3 sheet frame (now “vanilla I think) is made of 6mm aluminum which is almost 1/4” thick. 0.100" makes it more than 2 times thinner. But with all the reinforcements I’m guessing this would still be very rigid.
