PSA: If I’m asking you a question about your setup/environment it is almost never idle curiosity, but rather it’s information that I need to know to either a) diagnose what’s going on or b) attempt to recreate/solve the problem here. Having to ask multiple times for information (especially when it’s information that’s included in the list of things under “about this community” that I ask for if you are asking for help[1]) is both frustrating and time wasting, for both of us.

Your friendly neighborhood library maintainer.

[1] aka:

  • What version of the library you are using
  • What version of arduino you are building with (and what additions have you installed to arduino, e.g. teensy, etc…)
  • What OS you are building from (linux, mac, windows, something else)
  • Uploading code to either pastebin or gist will also help quite a bit.

You are absolutely right, but don’t expect any change in behaviour.

I think this is why software faults reports systems make you input these details on a form.

fastled 3.0/arduino+teensy/win7 … reaaaally working/looking for esp8266/atm32 development. Huge wave as ws2812 or Apa102!

pd… any news on atm32 implementation?
