Please tell me that’s the coolest spool holder I’ve ever seen.

That…is rather awesome. I’d love to print that for spooling the odd loose coil.

+Joe Spanier ha! It’s a model of an oil field piece of equipment.

+Dale Dunn, I am sure there are much easier prints to do that, :slight_smile: it does run on a steel hardened shaft and bearings, so is completely capable of spooling.

The spooling of filament, surprisingly never even crossed my mind… But now that you guys mention it…

It does look very cool, but what I’m mainly concerned with is the pulley traversing the spool’s width at the right pace to make even windings.

yup…everything in my print cue just got pushed back a few more days!!!
