Question about ESP8266 + FastLED: When programmed by the Arduino IDE - can I expect to see this working @160 MHz?

Try it! As long as the IDE sets F_CPU properly, in theory it should work.

That´s what I needed to hear. Boards are on the way to me.

I’m using mine at 160Mhz but I’m using the native SPI not FastLED works just fine!
