Question for those who are using cable chains…Where and how did you mount the cable chains for the x and y axis?

On my printers (cnc style frame) I have a printed end piece that mates with the carrier. That way I can fit to a specific hole pattern in sheet metal, to vslot, etc.

on the X I use a 8mm M5 and a T nut through the last part, then the open end is screwed into my X gantry plate in that notch. The Y is just screwed into my worktable, and then the other end is bolted on through one of the screws that hold the back 80mm extrusion.

Here’s a link to some photos I have of my build. I used an L bracket to attach the X and Y and the X lays on top of the stationary rear brace.
