Quick question, I’m aiming to build a small (150x150x150mm) format printer, for using the E3D 0.15 nozzle with detail over speed.
A lot of the details are pretty much fixed, so 0.9degree steppers, with trinamics drivers (not sure exactly what board/firmware yet, although duet wifi is a front runner)

What i’m struggling with is what to use for X&Y axis, i’m either going to use igus bearings and 8mm Linear rods or hiwin rails or similar.

So for slow movement with very fine adjustments, would you say Belts or Ballscrews?

Its going to be a fairly paint by numbers Box Cartesian build otherwise, Z axis will be leadscrew.
