Quick story on the things you think of once 3d printing is a thing.

Quick story on the things you think of once 3d printing is a thing. I’ve been frustrated many a time getting peppercorns into a grinder. Just tipping them in guarantees spills. Every funnel I’ve found is either too narrow at the end to let pepper past, or forces the grinding axle off centre. What I needed was a custom funnel.
I’ve been messing with 3d printing via shapeways for a while, but generally the outcomes aren’t aimed at utility like this. But I was tweaking a complex shape for a drink coaster while cooking, and had to top up the grinder. Twenty minutes later, it was printable. Also the first shape I’ve uploaded to shapeways where my response to the price of their stainless wasn’t just swear words.
