Quick update on my openswift building.

All the pieces but the winglets are printed and assembled separately, so I currently have a fuselage & 2 wings. I’ll have to wait to get some balsa to start covering the model :D. I also want to express my gratitude to @Andre_Roy for being able to help me with some tricky pieces, and even take the effort of redesign some of them so I could print them. Thanks so much for being awesome.

Unfortunately I have to pause the assembly for a time, as I have lost my tricopter a few weeks ago and I’d rather get a new tri than experiment with this, so that will take most of my efforts (and $$$) for the next month or so ;(.

With a bit luck this step back won’t take long and I’ll be back soon building this promising wing.

Nice work @Alex_Nieto . It looks good. Sad to hear about the tri-copter. Good luck with the new build.

Yeah… it has the extra sadness note that that tri was my first model :(.
Still, get what I’ve learned and move on.

I also will use this pause to get some time at the simulator, so when I finally fly this wing I won’t crash it
