@Matt_Harrington Yes, due to the printing process (single walled, no infill) there is a tubular void created. And the print seems to be airtight …
So if i wanted to print wheels for a longboard i would use TPU?
@Cristian_Martinez my skate knowledge is not that big but i would assume that this TPU is way to soft even in a high infill print. As i could check those rolles are usually made from PU — seems there are different hardnesses. I could imagine that maybe a hard core (PC, POM, PET) holding the bearings could work with a “tyre” in TPU - but then this also could came off when sliding… At least i could say that TPU is very durable.
