Ramps Firmware:
I have been using Repetier .91 for a while now and I see .92 is available.
As I need to configure the .92 again I could move to something else so is there better alternatives out there for just a standard i3 type printer?

I was told 0.9.9 was the version to use for the Prusa i3 type of printer. But to honest, I can’t see any difference in the printing between 0.9.9 and 1.1.7…

Where are you seeing those version, I can only see .92 as the latest but the question is on other firmwares

That is a slicer and not the firmware loaded on the Ramps board

Ah… I am on version 1. If you search for marlin for ramps you will find the github.

I’ve been on repetier for write a while now and, apart from the Chinese display not moving one menu item per “click” it’s perfect. Easy to configure and small. It has all the features needed… The 0.92.2 version is stable. I’ve had no problem at all since I’ve uploaded it a while back.

What reason do you have to change?
