Feedback is highly welcome !

That is amazing! I’m going to trade my iphone in for an android device tomorrow!!!

You should create a trial version of the paid version that is limited by print time or number of layers etc. so we can try before we buy. The 15 minutes that Google gives you to test is a bit short for something like this. It is a great deal if it works and I would gladly pay for it.

@Wylie_Hilliard the free version supports connecting to a printer, doing X,Y,Z movements , Extrude/Retract and so on. The most critical thing is the printer connection and the basic control, once this works everything else should work as well. Are you concerned about something in particular ?

One thing i would love to see added is local file support. Now you still need a server running the gcode stream. I want to be able to load the gcode file on my android device and print it from there.

That should be possible right?

This has local file support. You can print gcode directly from the android app, but it still doesn’t slice. Still nice vs Octoprint, because you get a local graphic UI.

@matthew_bennett ohw that is great!

I have most of my files sliced allready and i can upload them to dropbox or something.

@Mano_Biletsky_Open_M I haven’t tested local printing, but I’m just looking at it on my N7. I’ll test it when I get back to my printer, or someone else can verify.

Yeah, this plus a nice cheap tablet could make a nice interface for a printer.

@Mano_Biletsky_Open_M sure, Local files can be loaded as well and printed without any PC. You need to have a file manager installed, like ES File Explorer (has dropbox support as well).
