Really cool 2 motor, 1 nozzle extruder! Have you guys seen this before?

That looks like a really good idea. I guess you’d waste a bit on each layer when you switch and have to purge the nozzle, but it’s quite novel. If you used Bowden tubes, you could really cram multiple hot ends, each with multiple filament feeds, onto one head.
I wonder if you could just infill the gradient regions. Is there a way to control whether the infill or paremeter is done first? That only other downside I can see is the speed of changing each time.
AFAIK, both slicer and kiss always do perimeters first, don’t think there’s any reason that it couldn’t be switched
