good solution but need mantain power on adruino mega or this mod no work…if arduino no run cant turn on or off 12v power supply… not real standby. increase security but not at all.

check my mod…i disconnect 12v…and all board.
unique issue? need modify marlin to turn on one pin after “bootstrap” and after this push of a switch.

or use tempornay switch…but need take it
pushed for 7-10second.

As reminder by Thomas Atx have 5v 400ma always on when stay in standby and can use it for turn on arduino mega and use M80 81 gcode for turn off on 12v.

Maik in this case no need any other power suply…but mantain always on arduino generaly no make any issue and remove risk to mantain on power all system.
