It’s a good idea in theory but in practice the difficult part will be getting filament producers to adopt it. Right now the economies of scale are geared toward what is used now as it’s used in other industries and there are millions made. I wonder if anyone has done a DFM cost study to see what it’s going to cost to get this going. It’s going to need to be tooled then have enough produced to make it viable.
