@Shauki What’s so special at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tui9W2c69w&t=1m20s?
I don’t see it.
@Shauki
For a moment I thought you were referring to the system I used for the the balancing of the bed on the side with just one motor. I stole that idea from you.
At the moment it’s just very simple hemp rope. But I have some kevlar laying here to replace it. In my previous attemps to get the bed working properly, using your system for all the corners, I have tried mason cord, and also spectraline. But the stuff had to much elasticity. I got a see-saw movement I didn’t like. I’ve tried to compensate that by applying more tension, but it proved not strong enough, resulting in breaking.The solution I’m using now doesn’'t need that much tension. And the three motors I’m using now came from old printers, on the cheap.
@Shauki
Who are you callling a nut? But seriously, what nut are you referring to?
A stainless steel M8 spindle, trough a sinterbronze nut. It’s in the front, between the two ropes.
@Shauki It’s not really a nut, but a block of sinterbronze 30 x 30 mm. I’m hoping to use it a bit more than 150 hours.
I made it myself. Sorry.
