Right, this is coming from someone who detests ABS with a passion, but needs must. Admittedly I’ve not really had much experience with good ABS, so this is my question. I need suggestions of good ABS suppliers within the UK and Europe. The Speedo design I posted has the potential to net me a very large printing order but I’m unsure if a good PET is going to hack being in a vintage Lotus race car. My printing critera are that warp must be minimal, I don’t have an enclosed printer currently, I’m happy to throw a large brim on the print though as long as it cleans up easily. Bed temp can’t be more than 95c as my 12v systems really can’t go above that (I’m planning on a 24v conversion at some point), the filament must print well and be of a standard close to ColorFabb or Extrudr. So, thoughts?

::Edit::
As a note, I’m looking at @rigid.ink 's ABS as I have had a sample in and it printed pretty well with very little odor, but am looking at options atm.

Buy some oven bags (like for cooking turkeys) and throw a couple over the printer for an instant warm chamber. Then print very hot to get good interlayer stick. You’ll be ok.

@Alex_Skoruppa - mains bed is the plan for the AX-01 when funds allow me to get it built. I’ll take a look at TitanX.

@Ryan_Carlyle - yeah I have a plan for something similar, on the old CTC I had I used to shove a Cardboard box on top of it, I’ll prob go ghetto-style enclosure and tape cardboard panels around one of the FB2020s.

I’ve been getting excellent results using Esun ABS-plus.
90-75c HPB and no heated chamber. Very minimal corner lift on 175mm x 50mm high mechanical parts. I use a wide attached brim. Esun claim half the shrink and I believe it. AND almost no odor. Esun Silver is my goto filament - white seems possibly not to perform as well.
