Rostock Max V2 Smoothie Upgrade issues

Hello everyone,
So I ordered a Smoothieboard 4x a couple of months ago to upgrade my Rostock Max V2. Got it all hooked up, steppers turn the correct way, I can get the bed and hotend up to temp no problem. It homes correctly, and I can move the effector correctly in the Mac version of Pronterface, and have just finished calibrating.
The problem is that after I slice a file with KISSlicer and load it into either Pronterface or Mattercontrol, it homes, comes down a bit, then moves the effector all the way to the right. I’ve tried this a few times, with different files and similar results. The direction varies, but the effector always ends up outside and far above the bed.
I’m still new to this, was able to get some decent prints from the stock controller before I decided to upgrade, even with a bit of tower lean. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
James

I believe you’ll have to define a home position, or 0,0,0 as the center of your bed if Smoothie is set for a round bed in your slicing software.

Thanks for the response! I’m a bit confused, I guess. I cannot find where to define this, and I assumed that the endstop switches and homing successfully would define the home position?

Go to -> Printer settings -> General -> Bed shape - Set

Set your bed size and middle of your printbed that should work.

Thanks! I missed it because I had to enable the expert settings to see the bed shape setting. :expressionless: Anyway, got it working in pronterface/slic3r. Thanks to everyone for their help!
