Saw a version on Reddit and had to make my own. Six drink coasters of a map of Middle Earth. Need to put a light stain and lacquer to protect them.

See if you can pick up some scraps of timber decking anywhere & have a go on them.
@Yuusuf_Sallahuddin_Y I agree it would be better looking. Maybe a Game of Thrones map for the next one.
Be careful about using “treated” wood decking. I’m pretty sure the chemicals used wouldn’t be very good when burned by a laser.
@Jim_Fong Good note there. I don’t use treated wood for anything in general, but handy to note for other users. I usually use a hardwood Merbau decking when I’m testing lasering stuff (just because it’s reasonably easy for me to access & not too badly priced).
A GOT one would be cool! Especially if it had dragons flying across the ocean!
