Seeing an unusual behavior on my WS2812B strip. It will display NeoPixel test code without any issues. But it freezes whenever i try uploading any FastLED code to it. I have it running off of an Attiny85.

Need a bit more info to try to help you out[1].

Which ATtiny85 board are you using? What version of arduino are you using to build/upload code? How do you have things wired up? How many leds are you using? When you say it freezes - do you mean nothing happens light wise - or does the board completely stop responding?

Sorry wrote that in a rush. I got the cylon pattern to display from the FastLED library but none of the other patterns will display. Its an Attiny85-SU the strips are connected to pin 0. It may just be this one board as my other boards dont have any issues displaying any of my patterns. Oh well another attiny85 for the graveyard pile lol

How many LEDs? You might be hitting a memory limit.

Attiny85 has 512 bytes RAM, and 88 LEDs would take just over half of that. Should be fine, but depends what else your code is doing.

Yeah some of the ones i tried dont even take up 100bytes. But oh well the color i needed to use is neopixel. I just wanted to make it FastLED for the cool effects lol
