Seems ONO still doesn’t print when you look at it. Fishy
Thx @Todd_Blatt for taking some photos

That’s a likely story. Lol. Should have asked em to put it on the floor. Lol sad to say really but I think allot of people lost cash
Japicaed Makiboxed Carboned
And now ONOed
Sorry nils
This would be the most pricey Kickstarter fail I’ve backed, if it actually does fail.
@Phillip_Ramirez oh no, I haven’t backed anything except Makibox
Too good to be true. It seemed fishy and awkward but I didn’t raise a stink because I was too busy to look into it.
Thanks for the cross post @Nils_Hitze . I believe the last update said they were supposed to be shipping towards the end of October, but honestly they’ve been pretty silent since maker faire. I do believe that if their goal was to just run they wouldn’t have gone to maker faire, but they could be trying to make money back for the machine in pre orders.
If they’re not in full production mode right now, they’re not going to hit end of October at all.
How long before this starts being referred to as the “Oh no!”. And yes – if the table is too wobbly then the floor would do the trick, so that’s an excuse, not a reason.
someone on FB already made that Joke
It’s look like as M3D printer in DLP world. Look really fancy, good marketing and videos and at the end it is totally not worth it even if it works. For this price I can bet it will be constructed with cheapest 5V china geared stepper for 1.25$ and with HobbyKing cheapest carbon rods + cheapest belts for RC Heli Tail and metric lead screws from the local hardware store. I am sorry for everyone that think that he can have something valuable without paying the price one way or another.
The explanation for the wobbly table is so strange when you sale almost pocket 3D printer. So should we consider that this pocket printer should be located on industrial grade table with vibration dampeners and extremely horizontal and flat surface?
Too be fair to M3D, they had working prototypes from very early on, and demonstrated them at trade fairs. Given the subtleties that can get in the way of making a good, useable 3D printer, I would be very concerned that this bunch can’t demonstrate anything at all… (FWIW I was a [mostly happy] M3D Micro backer).
I agree that M3D work. I don’t agree with the specification they state. I even manage to sell mine with reasonable loss. But they never stated in the spec that I should live with not that perfect (not that symmetric circles). Also they state they use accelerometer to correct the errors which is a total lay as they use it only to calibrate the bed which also do not work as offered.
Even if they had a working model you couldn’t tell it’s working. We won’t know if it’s legit until it’s in peoples hands, but the product has actual engineering in it and they have resins, which is the real money maker.
Their demo parts also don’t look like something off a high end SLA machine so I’m pretty sure it’s legit, but I have no stake either way.
I backed it because I figured either way it’d be interesting to see what happens. I definitely want one in my hands but I’m curious to see how bad it will actually be. If I don’t get one then oh well.
Oh ok. Didn’t think you would.
@Phillip_Ramirez I weighed the pros and cons and thought it would be interesting if nothing else.
