Shapeoko2. First go upside down! Turned the X axis the correct way around
Second go perfect!!!
Very happy  Merry Christmas

Nice! mine wrote backwards the first time… Lol

I have the same issue. How did you fix it?

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo hey Tony, you need to reverse two wires on the motor, or enter some commands into GRBL or UGS

I turned the x-axis around

You can see as the left y and z carriage have the wires coming out of the top of the motor. The right y carriage the motor wires are to the front.

And when I say turned it around. That is unscrewed it from the y carriages and turned the x axis around so the back now becomes the front. I had mistakenly put it on back to front!!!

@Grant_Macaulay so have been able to cut anything yet?

are you using version GRbl v0.9?

What software are you guys using to generate Gcode? MeshCam, CamBamm? I’m drafting with auto cad, but I guess easel won’t accept AutoCad files… please help

Makercam.com. and I’m trying out meshcam. But http://makercam.com works good.

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo is it free? hehe  does it work with mac?

Yes and yes. Also use Inkscape to create your work. Free is awesome.

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo inkscape won’t install in my macbook, i wonder why? but I’m doing all my work in auto cad and solid works

Oh your set. Makercam.com just needs file format of .svg

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo thats the problem, maker cam won’t open auto cad files… neither STL… :frowning:

Try cut2d to test out. Bit cheaper than meshcam

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo is there a download website?

Vectric.com. also on invent ables site

@Tony_LaNuevo_AdoboTo I think meshcam might b the winner, $250 tho… :frowning:
