Near as I can piece together, He said RichRap was wasting his time on developing a pellet extruder, Thantik took exception to it, The Shauki withdrew entirely from the internet. (Thereās nothing left from him on G+ or Yahoo.) Kinda seems like he took the nuclear option to criticism of his criticism.

Well, I tend to hang in circles of brilliant, but thin-skinned, people in many aspects of my life, so Iāve seen this behavior beforeā¦it would be unfortunate if he considered this burning a bridge and not returning.
+Peter van der Walt I disagree with your assessment. His ability to print at extremely high speeds, in large envelopes, with a structure that anyone could make rigid and square with hand tools, using an extruder with no temp feedback loopā¦He made 10 printers in the same time I made one. His was the kind of disruptive look at the technology that improves the group with his presence.

Everyday when I opened my g+ account the first post would be of @shauki ā it was hard digesting he left but I knew he would comeback and I disagree with +Peter van der Waltā about qr not being earth shattering and he is right itās not earth shattering itās Galactica shattering lol I remember his post way before he was in g+ community the title read āIF YOU CAN DRILL THEN YOU CAN BUILD YOURSELF A PRINTERā as simple as that and that my friend is galatical shattering lol welcome back @shauki ā

I think it is important that we remember that everyone has different ideas, and it is the difference that inspires change and improvement, and that we should be able to express our ideas/opinions on the understanding that others may not see value in them because they have different circumstances and drivers.
I have learned a great deal and been inspired by everyone in this community, there have been ideas that I thought āwhy do that?ā, but then when I take a step back I can see it is:
- solving a problem I donāt yet have
- testing boundaries
- stretching limits or
- testing new ideas
how can any of that be bad?
Merry Christmas and a Happy and productive New Year to you all, I look forward to more inspiration in 2015, and hopefully I will be in a position to contribute with more than just words
