Sadly, I’ve seen this all too often with couriers. They sometimes literally throw your goods around. Your packaging needs to be up to handling that.
Automated sorting systems hit boxes hard. I believe ups has a division you can contact to help design packaging to prevent this. They have specs as to where the arms and pushers hit on boxes. I believe they will even test packaging for you. Not sure if it’s free or not, I just remember seeing a show on it a couple years ago.
