Simplest board for controlling the z-stage on a dlp printer?

Whats the simplest board to control the z stage on a 3d printer? Needs to be cheap, simple, easy to configure. Basically needs 1 stepper driver and support for two limit switches, and takes gcode

I guess worse case I can brew something up with a raspberry pi and gpio…

Could just use a easydriver and an uno. I’ve seen that done before.

LittleRP uses a GRBL shield or something like it. 3 bucks and a Uno.
