Since I’m not rubbing, the finish is even nicer... love it.

That’s a good price. Locally I get 1/4" sheared of the same size, except in 5052, for $80. It’s about $10 a square foot.

Do you get it from a sheet metal shop? I am used to seeing that on the brake. I use a welding shop and I’ll go just before lunch. I always bring a part in to show and offer to do work for the guys personal projects but am careful to let them know I don’t have time for a customer project.

It’s a metal supply shop, they do fab work there as well.

I couldn’t get a metal shop to take me seriously since I am a hobbiest. I tried. I ended up at a small metal fab welding shop. They have been great.

@Alex_Paverman sorry Alex. You are absolutely right sir, I forgot Rpm. 15k

@Mark_Leino mark is correct, on this Op there is no ramp. I do ramp holes where the inside is more pocket than inner profile cut. 30 degree Ansley in that case. Doesn’t take anything to clear a hole.

@Colin_Kaminski 3003 Al is diamond plate. Are you having success cutting this? I even flooded a R7 and good not keep the heat low enough.

@Brandon_Satterfield I am certainly not cutting diamond plate. I’ll stop in and ask them what alloy for sure next week.
