Since we’re showing our work areas…
My RigidBot and in-progress Kossel-Mini. Target shelves, tubs for storage of (lots of) filament, older computer and salvaged touch-screen.
Not shown is my heavily modified PrintrBot Simple.

Waaaaay cleaner than mine!

@ThantiK
The difference is just that you have a larger area, and you didn’t clean it up just for the photo. :wink:

Have you had any issues with the filament absorbing moisture? I went into Deezmaker and they’ve got all of their rolls out as well. I kind of used to wonder if this was all just a myth, but I started noticing on my filament I’d left out where there’d be puffs of steam or you’d hear a faint crack every once in a while. Print quality also tanked.

@Tim_Sills
That’s the difference between PLA and ABS. If I leave my ABS out, I get the same problems.

This process is very essential or not…??

Don’t even mention common nylon. I have a couple of air-tight 60 liter plastic barrels fitted with absorbant-packed socks for storing all filament whether it needs it or not. I will leave my first reel of Taulman Bridge out for a while to see how it reacts.

Nice! Much nicer than what I’m using for a printer area. My Rigidbot sits on the rigidbot box!

How do people get so organized, I need a maid!

How can you find anything it all in these plastic bins. Never know where stuff is.

@Wayne_Friedt Post-its on the front with lists of what’s inside (4-6 spools per bin). Bottom is all PLA, 1 bin of ABS on second shelf, exotics and parts on top shelf.

@Carlton_Dodd Ya. That was supposed to be a joke. I was really admiring your great use of space. Well done.
