Some advantages this structure might provide:

  1. Browse projects and get inspired/assuage fears. “It’s been done before and here is some info! I can do it too!”
  2. see project specific discussions and user generate documentation that is identical or similar to your project
  3. Ask builders direct questions and clarifications about their project.
  4. more images of projects, visuals are helpful.
  5. Users posting their work might get feedback on ways to improve their setup from more experienced builders.
  6. Just see all the awesome machines that smoothie is empowering

This would probably be the way I would contribute most.

We were considering having an “example configurations” section. This could be it.

Cool. It would be great if these example configurations had some sort fo standardized sub-sections like:

  • Smoothie Build, Config File

  • Hardware

    1. Controller, Panels, Sensors, Motors Drivers, Motors, Power Supplies, Extruders, Spindles
    2. Wiring Diagrams or images
