Can anyone point me in the right direction, Mr. Wolfe, to a Smoothieboard that can be configured to run 10 motors independently, so 10 drivers either modular or built in.

You can get any smoothie compatible board and wire in external drivers as documented in the website.
As far as hardware with 10 drivers that simply doesn’t exist. The most exotic boards go up to 7, and those are I believe not even commercially available ( possibly because they are useful to so few ).
