Smoothieboard without onboard drivers or the 3x?

Hi All,

I need a Smoothieboard without the onboard drivers. I’m planning on using external drivers for a large NEMA23 machine.
Is there a possibility I can order this board somewhere?
If not, is it possible to order the 3x board and still connect 5 external drivers or is something missing on the 3x board except the drivers.
Hope someone can shed some light on this, thanks.

Hi !

We are planning on releasing a 0X board that does what you want it to, soon. Working on it.
At the moment your best bet is to use a 3X board ( or a 4X board if you want Ethernet ).
You can connect as many external drivers as you want.

Hello,

I have made such a board let’s call it smoothieware.
Unfortunately it seems that I cannot post links.

Also it connects to a board with 4 channels with up to 4.2A per coil
